@CrisTooR: Just take a couple of whine glasses, fill them with different amounts of water, moisten your fingertips and start "stroking" the rim of the glasses with your fingertips. This brings on a vibration which is the cause of this beautiful sound.

@CrisTooR crystal glassware resonates when wet - you can 'tune' each glass by filling it with water - it takes a lot of skill to rub the glass and get a sound out of it to a rythmlike this guy does-he's right on tempo all the way to the end - at least as far as I can hear. The hands have to be wet all the time aswell.
There's even an instrument called the glass harmonica that was made to facilitate the creation of such sounds, inspired by the sounds of wine glasses (the story goes)
