Issue #15 was my favorite too. The one thing that bugged me was that the shark has bones. SHARKS DON'T HAVE BONES, SILLY!
But gahhhhhhhh.... character existentialism <3 Everything was so good in 15, especially after the whole pirate arc that had SO much potential but just kinda... flopped.

personally I thought I would get the Wolverine: Origin as a whole
I loved the Secret Invasion storyline
I thought the Dark Reign storyline was good (the fights between Deadpool & Bullseye were bad ass) and I'm for the rest of them right now

Hey mgalusic, great review. I agree on alot of what you think, but also differ on some things.
I personally think all the storys in Ways deadpool have been pretty decent, some better than others. You'd think the pirate arc would suck, but if you read it its pretty good and funny.
The x-men arc was a little predictable but still good and im pretty excited about hit- monkey, only because hes different and a real threat to Deadpool.
Until Deadpool marrys himself, Make Mine Marvel ! ^_^

i thought the skrull story arch was alright, but i liked the idea, that Deadpool was the reason that the secret invasion was a failure, but nobody really knows.

Yes the Art Sucked in Origins. I hated the series though over all.
Agent X is my Favorite side character. Or Udon Era Taskmaster.

I think the spidey arc has a butt load of potential simply cuz it's spiderman and Deadpool together how awsome is that :)
In my opinion Im not rly diggin the artwork as much I just hope the storyline can make up for it..I think that by adding hit-monkey to the mix it will leave soooo much room for some witty spidey one liners not to mention the possibility for Way to bring back the good old Merc humor that made Deadpool famous in the 1st place

#15 was awesome. we see the most amount of what makes him tick in just that one issue compared to other DP stories. definitely he needs to be written to have more conversations with himself like that.
do you think it was too much self loathing though for a deadpool comic? i mean we see the humor near the end but it was kinda depressing. kinda like spiderman sulking without making a single joke sometimes.

I really like the majority of the deadpool stories, I even liked the wolverine origins deadpool arc, although i agree the art could have been better. As far as the hit monkey thing, let him plug his new book in an issue or 2, but if it becomes a thing he consistently does I say marvel should drop kick him off a tall building and find somebody else to write deadpool.

Since I am pretty new to comics, Deadpool Volume 2 was the first trade I ever bought, and I loved it. I already liked Deadpool (although I had only seen him in Marvel Ultimate Alliance), but the comics in it made Deadpool my favorite Marvel character by far.
